Being a Francophile and foodie one of my favourite annual family outings is the Paris to Provence French Festival at the National Trust’s Como House. Read my review of my previous visit.
This year French producers, retailers, entertainment and workshops will be turning the gardens into a French market village from Friday 21 November to Sunday 23 November. Relax in beautiful surroundings and enjoy French inspired food, wine, fashion, books, music, toys, classes and home decor.

Ooh I love everything about France! The food, the fashion, the wine – the whole shebang. I can’t wait to go back and visit again, but this would be an excellent substitute for now!

FOOD!
Food glorious food!
Pastries, Wine and Cheese
Love the language
The effortless sophistication of Parisian women. And being able to buy the most delicious produce in your everyday, run-of-the mill supermarket.
Canelés!
Well I’ve never been to France but I would have to say my favourite thing is their food. Its still my fave cuisine after all the trendy things happening in Melbourne. I would still pick a French restaurant over the hippest new hangout.
merci
I love the fashion…
I love french food.
Museum and wine
Always wanted to go!
The French cuisine is so diverse and flavorsome that you can’t help but try everything once. I loved eating out in France as there was so much to choose from!
The food and wine
The history!
I love using the Velib bikes to ride around Paris. Because the first thirty minutes are free this encourages you to stop and change over every half hour. This is a great way to discover parts of Paris you wouldn’t normally find as a tourist. In our last trip we found one area with about six shops just specializing in graphic novels which the kids browsed through while we grabbed a coffee – such a great way to break up a day of exploring.
Croissant et baguette. In France I can indulge my love of gluten without being judged by people on faux-health kicks.
Toute la France est très bon.
Croissants! Butter! The very best food in the world 😀
Croissants! Butter! France has the very best food in the world.
It is my absolutely favorite country – from the people to the landscape: Paris’s low-rise cityscape, the rivers and canals of the towns and provinces, the history and the historic architecture, and of course the food and the language.
Looks brilliant!
C’est Magnifique !!!!!
I love the food and history.
The food! Oh, the crepes and the cheese!
Gastronomy, romance and art.
I’d love to go on a canal cruise
The romance of it all.
Always wanted to visit France, Love the fact that we get to visit france in Australia!
Sounds like a lovely day out for the family

I love the picturesque fields of lavender!

Baguettes and French crepes around every corner in Paris!
Baguettes and fresh crepes around every corner in Paris!
Chocolate eclairs!
What I love about Paris, is showing the photos of holidaying there for 6 weeks in 1994! to my two young boys, Rafael and Pierre ! and inspiring travel in them. Sharing my love of all things French…especially the La Tour Effel !
French should be the main language in Australia, so that we have great food and wine
I love the contrast in which the French do things. Simple makeup, hair and clothes, juxtaposed with more complex food and language. Also, when I was in France years ago, there wasn’t a morning that I didn’t have a chocolate filled croissant! That, has to be one of life’s simple pleasures.
My favourite thing about France is the elegance and the romance. I’d love to get married there.
Love the place and food!
Love the place and the people
champagne et fromage!
What a silly question Joyce – of course it is Champagne! Cheers darling! 😉
The way I could never EVER get the pronunciation of the train stations right!
