This year they’re braving Melbourne’s unpredictable weather with a new outdoor location on the Pelican Lawn on Albert Park Lake and the festival will showcase dishes from a broad range of Melbourne’s restaurants – walk your tastebuds from MoVida to Mamasita, from The Aylesbury to Albert St Food & Wine.
The festival is more than just the food and wine stalls. For instance, sustainability will be a major focus for the festival and The Sustainable Living Garden will be dedicated to greener cooking and host a rotating lineup of restaurants. You can learn the art of cocktails at Sensology with a step by step guide to making and serving iconic cocktails or get knowledgeable about coffee in the Nespresso Experience.
I’m most looking forward to checking out the Malaysian producers market and Malaysia Kitchen, hosted by former Masterchef contestant and celebrity chef Poh, and learning some new kitchen tricks from top chefs in the Chef’s Skillery.
